| Albert Gerry Position: President & Directory Mr. Gerry earned an Environmental Studies Degree and Masters of Architecture Degree from the University of Manitoba graduating in 1972. Mr. Gerry practiced architecture for twenty years and established and ran his own firm in 1977 to 1993. During the practice Mr. Gerry took a control position in a publicly trading companying and has been serving as director, president and managing CEO for AKA Ventures Inc. (formally known as Zappa resources Ltd. since 1987). AKA Ventures Inc. over the past twenty years participated in exploration and development of resources opportunities in Canada, Ecuador, California, Nevada, and Tunisia Africa. | Lewis Dillman Position: Chief Financial Officer & Director Mr. Dillman holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs, from Columbia University of New York, specializing in international banking and finance. Mr. Dillman has extensive contacts in the resource and venture capital sectors and is presently President and CEO of Dillman Oil Properties as well as President of Abenteuer Resources Corporation. | |
| James Turner, P. Geo Position: Director Mr. Turner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia. He has been a practicing geologist since 1976. Mr. Turner is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and a former fellow of the Geological Association of Canada. He has been involved in mineral explorations with major mining companies such as Teck-Cominco Limited, Noranda Inc. and Newmont Explorations of Canada Limited. During his career Mr. Turner has worked in British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Baffin Island, Yukon Territory, Mali, Ghana, Panama, U.S.A and Brazil. Mr. Turner has extensive experience in exploration for base metals, precious metals, and diamonds. | |
| Deborah Canuel Position: Corporate Secretary and Controller Ms. Canuel's previous experience includes eight years as a senior credit officer for HSBC Bank of Canada as well as working with UHY LDMB Advisors tax consultants and is presently employed as a personal assistant to the owner of Rich Real Estate Ltd. Ms. Canuel holds intimate knowledge of the AKA's history and records. | |
| Stephen Hodges Position: Director Mr. Hodges holds a business degree from the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. Mr. Hodges has numerous contacts and relationships in the mining sector from his experience in both China and North America. Mr. Hodges is a successful businessman in the venture capital and technology industries. As a past director of Radiant Resources Inc. and Alliance Pacific Resources Inc., as well as serving as Vice Chairman of a Sino-Canadian joint venture dealing with manufacturing underground mine equipment and technology, Mr. Hodges brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Company. Mr. Hodges was also a representative in Beijing, China for the Canada China Business Council (CCBC), where he assisted several Canadian and U.S. companies with their strategies for business development. |
